MS Baseball vs. Eno River Academy – Tuesday, March 15, 2022

Excelsior Classical Academy’s three pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as Excelsior Classical Academy defeated Eno River Academy 18-0 on Tuesday.

Brayden Mottola collected four hits in five at bats to help lead Excelsior Classical Academy to victory. Mottola singled in the first, doubled in the second, singled in the fourth, and doubled in the fifth.

Mottola got the start for Excelsior Classical Academy. The pitcher lasted two innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out five.

#19 led things off on the mound for Eno River Academy. The bulldog surrendered six runs on six hits over two innings, striking out two and walking one. #3 and Jaden entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one-third of an inning respectively.

Excelsior Classical Academy collected 18 hits on the day. Mottola, Hamilton Malott, Patrick Browning, Sebastian Myers, Wren Hash, Cameron Harper, and Griffin Kovalesky all managed multiple hits for Excelsior Classical Academy. Mottola led Excelsior Classical Academy with four hits in five at bats. Excelsior Classical Academy was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Hash made the most plays with nine.
