MS Baseball vs. Vance Charter- Friday, April 29, 2022

Cameron Harper was an RBI machine on Friday, driving in four on three hits to lead Excelsior Classical Academy past Vance Charter MS KNIGHTS 10-5 on Friday.  Harper drove in runs on a single in the first and a triple in the fourth.

Vance Charter MS KNIGHTS scored three runs in the fifth inning, but Excelsior Classical Academy still managed to pull out the victory.  The offensive firepower by Vance Charter MS KNIGHTS was led by Austin Dethmers and Devin Wallace, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Excelsior Classical Academy got on the board in the first inning.  Harper drove in one when Harper singled.

Brayden Mottola led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Excelsior Classical Academy. The righthander surrendered five runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out seven.

Wallace toed the rubber for Vance Charter MS KNIGHTS. The bulldog surrendered six runs on seven hits over two and a third innings.  Shawn Thomas Journigan threw two and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.

Excelsior Classical Academy tallied 12 hits.  Harper, Ryan Dippolito, and Mottola all collected multiple hits for Excelsior Classical Academy.  Dippolito and Harper each managed three hits to lead Excelsior Classical Academy.  Dippolito led Excelsior Classical Academy with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with five stolen bases.

Dethmers went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Vance Charter MS KNIGHTS in hits.
