Jarred is from a tiny town called Tobaccoville, North Carolina. After high school he attended Western Carolina University where he graduated with a degree in physical education. While at Western he began coaching football and wrestling at Smoky Mountain High School. After graduation he began his teaching career at Weldon High School in Weldon, North Carolina where he taught for 3 years. Along with teaching he was also the strength and conditioning coordinator as well as a football and baseball coach. For nine years Jarred was the Health/PE teacher, strength and conditioning coordinator and assistant athletic director at Research Triangle High School. During COVID Jarred completed his graduate studies in Sports Management at West Virginia University, Jarred and his wife Jessica live in Apex with their toddler Connor and their German Shepherd Waylon. During his free time Jarred spends as much time with his family as he possibly can. He is also a huge history nerd who enjoys reading historical biographies. He also enjoys gaming and watching movies.
