Excelsior Classical Academy MS Can’t Hold Up Against Vance Charter MS Knights
Excelsior Classical Academy had a tough time generating runs on Tuesday, dropping their game with Vance Charter Knights 13-4. ECA scored three runs in the fourth inning. Miles Derby and Jon Luke Harper all drove in runs in the frame.
Vance Charter scored eight runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught by Vance Charter MS Knights was led by Byrum, Martin, Tucker, Waters, Lloyd, and Satterwhite, all driving in runs in the frame.
Satterwhite led things off on the mound for Vance Charter. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out three.
Harper toed the rubber for ECA. The righty surrendered seven runs on four hits over three innings, striking out two. Patrick Browning, Liam Dippolito, and Cannon Close each contributed in relief for ECA.
Jaden McIver went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead ECA in hits.
Journigan led Vance Charter with three hits in four at bats.
