Excelsior Classical Academy defeats Woods Charter School
Excelsior Classical Academy bested Woods Charter 9-4 on Tuesday. Woods Charter opened tthe scoring in the top of the first with two singles. #13 singled scoring one run and #5 singled scoring the second.
Excelsior took the lead 5-3 in the bottom of the third thanks tot singles by Liam Dippolito and Bryce Minor. Excelsior scored one run in the bottom of the fourth on a solo home run to center field by JonLuke Harper.
Sidney Schreiber earned the win for Excelsior surrendering 4 walks and 3 runs over four innings. #13 was on the hill for Woods Charter. He allowed 10 hits and 6 runs over four innings, striking out 1 and walking 3. Harper appeared in relief for Excelsior.
