Two Pitchers Work Together in No-Hitter as Excelsior Classical Academy Beats Eno River Academy MS

Excelsior Classical Academy’s two pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as ECA defeated Eno River Academy 11-0 on Monday. Sebastian Myers struck out Christian to get the last out of the game.

ECA opened up scoring in the first inning, when Jaden McIver drew a walk, scoring one run.

ECA scored five runs in the second inning.  ECA big bats were led by Jon Luke Harper, Hamilton Malott, Bryce Keaton, and Miles Derby, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Malott led things off on the hill for ECA. The righty lasted three innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out seven and walking one.

Jaden was on the hill for Eno River Academy. Jaden surrendered five runs on one hit over one-third of an inning.  Leo threw two and two-thirds innings in relief.

ECA tallied six hits on the day.  Griffin Kovalesky and Malott each had multiple hits for Excelsior Classical Academy.  Malott and Kovalesky each collected two hits to lead ECA.  Excelsior Classical Academy tore up the base paths, as four players stole at least two bases. Kovalesky led the way with two.  ECA was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. McIver made the most plays with  nine.
