Excelsior Classical Academy Defeated By Voyager Academy

Excelsior Classical Academy got things moving in the first inning, when Jon Luke Harper doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Voyager Academy took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning.  In the third an error scored two runs for Voyager Vikings and Linus Smith singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Smith got the start for Voyager Academy. The righthander allowed one hit and four runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out two.

Griffin Kovalesky was on the mound for Excelsior Classical Academy. The righthander lasted one inning, allowing zero hits and two runs while striking out three.  Liam Dippolito and Cannon Close entered the game as relief, throwing two innings and two innings respectively.

Harper went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Excelsior Classical Academy in hits.  Harper led Excelsior Classical Academy with four stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.
